This study was conducted in collaboration with the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and with the support of the Délégation aux Affaires stratégiques of the French Ministry of Defense.
Its objective is to provide an overview of air transport companies involved in destabilising transfers in Africa. More specifically, the study aims to identify the main companies, how they operate, the networks they set up, the type of transactions they carry out and the categories of arms concerned, and, where possible, their relations with governments in Africa and elsewhere.
Timeframe: January 2014 - January 2015.
